Holy Thursday Adoration
One of the most prayerful times of the Sacred Triduum is Adoration of the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament on Holy Thursday evening (March 29, 2018) from 8:30PM to 11:00PM.
“Could you not watch with me one hour?”
In response to Our Lord’s desire that we spend time with him, we have arranged to have each ministry group assigned to a half hour of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
We hope you will respond yes to the Lord’s invitation.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
A New Year's Prayer
Lord, You make all things new
You make hope alive and bring
peace in our hearts.
Thank you for this new year;
for all the potential it holds.
Come and kindle in us a mighty flame
so that many will see your love through your Church.
We praise Your glorious name,
through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who reigns now and forever.
Amen.
St. Joseph & Mother Mary... Pray for us.
Our Savior Jesus Christ... Have mercy on us.
Timothy Cardinal Dolan visited Saint Augustine's Parish and celebrated the 10:30AM Sunday Mass on April 24, 2016. It was such a joyous occasion and an honor to have the Archbishop of New York grace our parish community. After the Mass, the cardinal took his time meeting and shaking hands with all of the parishioners right near the statue of Saint Augustine outside of the church. He was particularly fond of the babies and the elderly and took the time speaking with them and giving each one a hug. His visit was part of the archdiocese's capital campaign to help meet the needs of all the parishes in the archdiocese as well as the needs of our own parish community.
On Tuesday, November 24, 2015, a beautiful INTERFAITH THANKSGIVING PRAYER SERVICE was held right here at Saint Augustine's Parish for all of our brothers and sisters of all denominations in Rockland County. The prayer service was led by our pastor, Father Bill, together with the rabbis and leaders of our neighboring synagogues and parishes. At the end of the prayer service, everyone in the church joined hands and sang "Let There Be Peace on Earth". Of course, there were multiple trays of baked goods and other refreshments waiting in the Zoeller Center for fellowship prepared by some of our most dedicated parishioners. It was a wonderful event that definitely promoted friendship, support, and love amongst our brothers and sisters.
