On Friday, September 25th, 2015 at 5:00 PM, Pope Francis traveled via motorcade through Central Park to meet and greet New Yorkers. This happened shortly after his visit to Our Lady Queen of Angels School and before celebrating Mass at the Madison Square Garden.
Madison Square Garden is a multi-purpose indoor arena, primarily used for sporting events, concerts, and other large-scale events. With a seating capacity of over 19,000, the venue proved to be a suitable location for the papal Mass.
Thousands of people from near and far crowded New York City just to get a glimpse of our loving Holy Father. Regardless of the wait, everyone agreed that seeing Pope Francis and receiving God's blessings through him was worth the sacrifice. People's love for our Holy Father was simply overwhelming and moving. We all look forward to another visit from Pope Francis someday soon.
VIVA, FRANCISCO !!!
